Year
7: Independent Learners!
Becoming an independent user of
ICT is very important, especially in a world where each year sees
new technologies, software and higher expectations. Workers of
the future will need to be adaptable and confident.
In the first 2 modules of Year 7 we aim to give students the confidence
by learning and applying new skills, but also exploring and finding
new things out for themselves.
This way of working will be continued
throughout the school in ICT. These first skills building on
the excellent work going on in many of the Island's primary schools
will enhance the students experience and learning across all the
curriculum.

their work can be found here. |

Year 9: Preparing
for DiDA
At Key Stage 4, students at SNHS
will work towards obtaining a Diploma in Digital Applications (equivallent
to 4 GCSEs).
Students first work on the AiDA (1 GCSE) then CiDA (2 GCSEs) and if they are
able, then they may go on to complete the full DiDA course.
Much of Year 9 is dedicated to making sure students are ready to complete this
practical course.
